Is 2012 really end of the world !!!...

Many belive that an cataclysmic or transformative events will occur on or around December 21 in 2012,which is said to be the end-of-world . These beliefs arise from archaeoastronomical speculation, alternative interpretations of mythology, numerological constructions, or alleged prophecies from extraterrestrial beings.

During 2012, the planet and its inhabitants may undergo a positive physical or spiritual transformation, and that 2012 may mark the beginning of a new era. Conversely, some believe that the 2012 date marks the beginning of an apocalypse.

WHY ?
  • Mayan Calendar
  • Sun Storms
  • Atom Smasher
  • Bible saying
  • Super Volcano
  • Physicists
  • Pole Shift
  • Web Bot
  • Black hole alignment
  • Geomagnetic reversal
MAYAN calendar ?

The first mob to predict 2012 as the end of the world were the Mayans, a bloodthirsty race that were good at two things:

Building highly accurate astrological equipment out of stone and Sacrificing Virgins.

Thousands of years ago they managed to calculate the length of the lunar moon as 329.53020 days, only 34 seconds out. The Mayan calendar predicts that the Earth will end on December 21, 2012. Given that they were pretty close to the mark with the lunar cycle, it’s likely they’ve got the end of the world right as well.

SUN storms ?

Solar experts from around the world monitoring the sun have made a startling discovery. Our sun is in a bit of strife. The energy output of the sun is, like most things in nature, cyclic, and it’s supposed to be in the middle of a period of relative stability. However, recent solar storms have been bombarding the Earth with so much radiation energy, it’s been knocking out power grids and destroying satellites. This activity is predicted to get worse, and calculations suggest it’ll reach its deadly peak sometime in 2012

ATOM smasher ?

Scientists in Europe have been building the world’s largest particle accelerator. Basically its a 27km tunnel designed to smash atoms together to find out what makes the Universe tick. However, the mega-gadget has caused serious concern, with some scientists suggesting that it’s properly even a bad idea to turn it on in the first place. They’re predicting all manner of deadly results, including mini black holes. So when this machine is fired up for its first serious experiment in 2012, the world could be crushed into a super-dense blob the size of a basketball.

BIBLE saying ?

If having scientists warning us about the end of the world isn’t bad enough, religious folks are getting in on the act aswell. Interpretations of the Christian Bible reveal that the date for Armageddon, the final battle between Good an Evil, has been set down for 2012. The I Ching, also known as the Chinese book of Changes, says the same thing, as do various sections of the Hindu teachings.

SUPER volcano ?

Yellowstone National Park in the United States is famous for its thermal springs and Old Faithful geyser. The reason for this is simple – it’s sitting on top of the world’s biggest volcano, and geological experts are beginning to get nervous sweats. The Yellowstone volcano has a pattern of erupting every 650,000 years or so, and we’re many years overdue for an explosion that will fill the atmosphere with ash, blocking the sun and plunging the Earth into a frozen winter that could last up to 15,000 years. The pressure under the Yellowstone is building steadily, and geologists have set 2012 as a likely date for the big bang.

PHYSICISTS ?

This one’s case of bog-simple maths mathematics. Physicists at Berekely Uni have been crunching the numbers. and they’ve determined that the Earth is well overdue for a major catastrophic event. Even worse, they’re claiming their calculations prove, that we’re all going to die, very soon – while also saying their prediction comes with a certainty of 99 percent- and 2012 just happens to be the best guess as to when it occurs.

POLE shift ?

We all know the Earth is surrounded by a magnetic field that sheilds us from most of the sun’s radiation. What you might not know is that the magnetic poles we call north and south have a nasty habit of swapping places every 750,000 years or so – and right now we’re about 30,000 years overdue. Scientists have noted that the poles are drifting apart roughly 20-30kms each year, much faster than ever before, which points to a pole-shift being right around the corner. While the pole shift is underway, the magnetic field is disrupted and will eventually disappear, sometimes for up to 100 years. The result is enough UV outdoors to crisp your skin in seconds, killing everything it touches.

WEB bot ?

The Web Bot project is a series of automated bots that search the internet for specific keywords, looking for patterns. Its co-creator, George Ure, states that its study of "web chatter" predicted the September 11 attacks in New York, though he also suggests that the project can predict natural disasters, such as earthquakes. He now asserts that the project has predicted that the world will end on December 21, 2012.

BLACK hole alignment ?

An apocalyptic reading of Jenkins's hypothesis has that, when the galactic alignment occurs, it will somehow create a combined gravitational effect between the Sun and the supermassive black hole at the center of our galaxy (known as Sgr A*), creating havoc on Earth. However, this "alignment" takes place over tens of millions of years, and could never be timed to an exact date. Evidence shows that the Sun passed through the galactic disc only three million years ago, and is now moving farther above it.

GEOMAGNETIC reversal ?

Geomagnetic reversal (often incorrectly referred to as a polar shift)is when the orientation of the Earth’s magnetic field becomes reversed. Thus, magnetic north and south switch places. It could be triggered by a massive solar flare, one with energy equal to 100 billion atomic bombs. when the geomagnetic reversal happends compasses and all navigational instruments will be affected. So shipping, air-flight and all GPS equipment, including satellites, would be off-line. The earths magnetic field will be weakened and a diminished magnetic field which shields us from energetic particles emitted continuously by the sun would leave us vulnerable to the harmful effects of magnetic storms spawned by solar flares and sun spots.

We will see about each one in a detailed manner in the following blogs.

Underwater Pyramids - World's Oldest Stone Age Building

The word "underwater" makes us thrilling and Wondering, there are many mysterious yet to be revealed . One amoung them is the "underwater pyramid". The world`s oldest building, nearly twice the age of te great pyramids of Egypt and the first evidence of the Stone Age civilization.

WHO found ?

First discovered by scuba divers 10 years ago but the locals believed it was a natural phenomenon.

Professor Masaki Kimura, a geologist at Ryukyu University in Okinawa, was the first scientist to investigate the site and concluded that the mysterious five-layer structure was man-made.

LOCATION ?

The structure off Yonaguni is located on a small island on southwest of Okinawa.

The monument is 600ft wide and 90ft high and has been dated to at least 8000BC. The oldest pyramid in Egypt, the Step Pyramid at Saqqara, was constructed more than 5,000 years later.

WHO build ?

It was too early to say who built the monument or its purpose. The structure could be an ancient religious shrine, possibly celebrating an ancient deity resembling the god Nirai-Kanai, whom the locals say gave happiness to the people of Okinawa from beyond the sea. This could be evidence of a new culture as there are no records of a people intelligent enough to have built such a monument 10,000 years ago.

This could only have been done by a people with a high degree of technology, probably coming from the Asian continent, where the oldest civilizations originate. There would have to have been some sort of machinery involved to have created such a huge structure.

The first signs of civilization in Japan are traced to the Neolithic period around 9000BC. The people at this time lived as hunters and food- gatherers. There is nothing in the archeological record to suggest the presence of a culture advanced enough to have built a structure like the ziggurat.

PROFESSOR sayings ?

Professor Masaki Kimura said " The object has not been manufactured by nature. If that had been the case, one would expect debris from erosion to have collected around the site, but there are no rock fragments there, The discovery of a road surrounding the building was further evidence that the structure was made by humans"

Robert Schoch, professor of geology at Boston University said "It basically looks like a series of huge steps, each about a meter high. Essentially, it's a cliff face like the side of a stepped pyramid. It's a very interesting structure. But it's possible that natural water erosion combined with the process of cracked rocks splitting created such a structure, but I haven't come across such processes creating a structure as sharp as this.Further evidence that the structure man-made came with the discovery of smaller underwater stone mounds nearby. Like the main building, these mini-ziggurats are made of stepped slabs and are roughly 10m wide and 2m high.

Teruaki Ishii, professor of geology at Tokyo University, said " The structure dated back to at least 8000BC when the land on which it was constructed was submerged at the end of the last ice age. I hope this site is artificial as it would be very exciting. But at this time I feel it is too early to say. I think the structure could be natural, but part of it may have been made,".

Jim Mower, an archeologist at University College London, said "If it is confirmed that the site is as old as 10,000 years and is man-made, then this is going to change an awful lot of the previous thinking on southeast Asian history. It would put the people who made the monument on a par with the ancient civilization of Mesopotamia and the Indus Valley."

Cyborg Beetle - Remote Controlled Spy Bees

Technology have advanced a lot many things which are just fictions in James bond movies are becoming real. one of such things in the "Cyborg Beetle - Spy Bee"

A word "cyborg" means an cybernetic organism, an organism that has both artificial and natural systems. The term was coined in 1960 by Manfred Clynes and Nathan Kline .

WHO ?

Beetles and other flying insects are masters of flight control, integrating sensory feedback from the visual system and other senses to navigate and maintain stable flight, all the while using little energy.

Michel Maharbiz and his colleagues aim to take advantage of the beetle's natural abilities by melding insect and machine. Researchers from the University of California, Berkeley, implanted tiny neural and muscle stimulation systems into small beetles, thus obtaining the possibility to control the insects. The research was funded by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).

HOW ?

The beetle's payload consists of an off-the-shelf microprocessor, a radio receiver, and a battery attached to a custom-printed circuit board, along with six electrodes implanted into the animals' optic lobes and flight muscles. Flight commands are wirelessly sent to the beetle via a radio-frequency transmitter that's controlled by a nearby laptop. Oscillating electrical pulses delivered to the beetle's optic lobes trigger takeoff, while a single short pulse ceases flight. Signals sent to the left or right basilar flight muscles make the animal turn right or left, respectively.

WHY beetle ?

Beetles have certain advantages. It can carry relatively heavy payloads. Beetle's flight can be controlled relatively simply. A single signal sent to the wing muscles triggers the action, and the beetle takes care of the rest. Minimal signaling conserves the battery, extending the life of the
implant.

USE ?

To be used for search-and-rescue missions, the insect would carry a small camera and heat sensor.

Wide use in the military field, where scientists would develop military cyborg beetles that would work as spies.
